Windells this summer!

So i tore my acl this fall playing football missed all winter of skiing, Plan on going to windells this summer. It will be my first trip to windells and I'm really excited to get back on my skis. I want to know what to expect, and how much gear I need to pack.  +k for the help. :)

your gona love it deffinetly pack sunscreen and alot of changes of clothes and a skateboard or some fruitboots also tons of money for the staff sale cause shit is DIRT CHEAP. what session are you goin? i might see you there

this! youre gonna have so much fun.
the only advice i can give you is

-you will sweat alot so bring alot of clothes.
-all the water is yellow, just accept it
-take full advantage of the demo shed, so much sick stuff
-save as much money as you can for staff sale
-stay on the mountain as long as possible, none of this 1:00 van back to camp BS, gotta catch the last one.
-HAVE FUN

Pretty much got shit some what packed. I got 2 pairs of new hhp's,  5 level1 tall tees, my icons, fulltilts, and 4 pairs of gogs.. anything else guys.?  Post here if you want that Karmaz to go up.

I'd bring more then four. You wouldn't want to wear the same pair of goggles twice at camp.

windells has a list on their website of stuff you should bring. just read that, it will help a lot. and bring an ass ton of tall tees and basketball shorts, bed sheets, huge fat waterbottle, mad $crilla for the store and coaches sale

make sure you bring a bandanna, so you dont get faceburned, light reflects off snow as you allready know

really thin gloves, like seriously i went to wis and it god damn hot, and a camera if you have one, and something to ccover your head/face like a shirt that your wrap arround or a buff or something along thos lines!

probably around 40 in the morning, although it can get down to 35 and its windy. and in the afternoon it warms up a lot

bring alot of cash (staff sale and store are super sick, all ur ski stuff, sunscreen, a skateboard or fruit boots(whichever u prefer) but if u cant fit it no big they have stuff that u cna borrow for free but its better to have ur own. bring a pair of sport shorts (u will get really warm when u tramp sesh), bring some clothes to skate in. a couple pairs of ski pants if u have them because pants get really wet in the slush. bring more than one tall t slash whatever layer u wear. like2 full sets of t shirts/hoodies to ski in. other than that i hope ur knee feels better. im out right now too i broke my shoulder. what session are u going i might see u there. its the funnest plavce on earth!!

Two things about Windells: Its fucking hot, and its fucking bright.
With your 4 pairs of gogs you probably have a super bright light lense, so bring those. Do not bring your jacket, its just to hot for it. I wore a long sleeve thermal and a tall vest and i was still sweating on the hill.

carefull with your 4 pairs of gogs, though, i had a pair jacked from me last summer, so bring a lock for your bag.

i dont know why but i got made fun of so much at windells. They kept saying I was something like a trend or gear whore? I made sure to bring all my gear so that they would be impressed by all the stuff i had. I guess my full tilts, spks, afterbangs, hellbents, Saga suit, first drop suit, LDC, and scott team issue poels werent enough. Do you think having splices would have made it betteR?

when i went it was really crazy hot the whole week, so i regret bringing too much heavy clothing.  t-shirts and shorts for camp life and spring gear for the hill.  yeah, the water is a little yellow, but it tastes pretty damn good.  talk to everyone.  my biggest piece of advice:

DO NOT TAKE THE TOP FLOOR OF THE ROADHOUSE if you get in, GET ON A BOTTOM BUNK ON THE 1ST FLOOR.

that ladder was killing me by day 3.
