Prob w/ tunes into itunes

so i did the whole.. find the hidden files on my ipod and copied them into my docs>my music...

i then try to add then to my itunes library by adding a folder, i've tried adding all the single folders F00 through F49... no go, i tried adding the whole folder.. no go... now i can play then on my media player, but they wont add to my itunes... any help would be appreciated.

i tried using Ephpod 2.77 but that didnt seem like it was very user friendly... ill try your suggestion.
