This weekend I decided spend some time and write my own URL shortener as a way to add a little bit of originality to my tweets and facebook status updates.
Its called http://farp.me and I'm leaving it up to you guys to do my beta testing. You use it just like you would use bit.ly or any other shortener. It works fine for me but your mileage may vary. I can't promise your links will stay permanent either but I'll try not to delete them unless I decide to totally re-architect this thing or some jerk spams the crap out of it and wrecks the server.
