so i live in a pretty hilly neighborhood and a few of my freinds have longoards so i decided to buy one and i was wondering what i should look for. ive ridden sector 9s so i know there nice but other than that im cluless. i want a board that can take steep hills w/o speed wabble, none if this short nonsense haha.
what should i look for in board material, trucks, bearings, wheels, board length, and hardware. +k for helping and good companie suggestions

I dont know what on earth "double kingpin" trucks are, I think the first guy meant reverse kingpin (randals, paris, etc vs regular kingpin skateboard style trucks). Some truck companies, like Original, and some other OEM parts use weird non-bushing truck designs, mostly springs. I hate em, some people love em. Most think they are meh.
If I were you, I'd go to your local skateshop, as long as its not a zumiez or other notorious chain store, and talk to the guys there. If you dont have a local shop....

A nice combo for someone starting out who has no idea what they want to get into would be a relatively symetrical or symetrical deck (too many options to list) , Paris or Randal II 180mm trucks, a pair of radiused (round edged) wheels (loaded freerides are real hot right now), and small parts.
If you want a complete set-up, make sure you buy grip tape, a deck, trucks, mounting hardware (machine bolts and lock nuts, washers optional), shock risers(trust me on these, best $5 you'll spend, as they prevent stress fractures), trucks, bushings (these usually come with trucks), bearings, bearing spacers (might be included), and wheels. Buy some bearing lube and the highest % rubing alc you can find to clean bearings.
If that was too scary, buy a complete and take it from there.

I don't know what kind of money you have, but heres what I consider two very nice deck options
Rayne Nemesis: super dope 1/2 inch drop deck, really fun, stiff, like really fucking stiff, slidey, awesome length at 39 inches
Loaded Dervish: the favorite of college kids everywhere, springy, cambered (just like your park skis), very little concave, kind of narrow platform, drop through mounting.
If you want a board for going faster and more tech sliding while being stabler, the rayne. If you like cross-stepping, or just want to cruise more, the dervish. THeres TONS of other options though, these are just really fun boards.
Trucks: just pick up a pair of Paris Trucks in 180mm length. Durable, predictable, fun. I don't know if they have kingpin angle options, if they do, the lower the angle, the stabler, the higher the angle, the turnier.
Wheels: totally up to you. If I went out today to buy a pair of fun, messing around wheels, I would buy 70mm 76a loaded freeride stimulus. Slidey fun.
Bearings: buy something cheap with rubber seals. ABEC means NOTHING. NOTHING at all at the speeds we are going. Its a scam
Make sure you have a helmet, and if you're gettin extreme, slide gloves. Or just leather gloves in case you fall.

sector 9s arent that good and highly over rated. Paris or randal trucks are good for up to like 60 and maybe over that if flipped. Hardware doesn't matter, you should get bearings with nylon sealed retainers. Wheels:abec 11, retro, gfh, and o-tangs(orangotang) are all good wheels and my friend, my bro, me are selling decks check out the thread:
