Im not trying to be an asshole but there is no such thing as the perfect swing. There is a correct swing for each individual, because each person has a different swing. There is a swing called matching swing elements and when all of them match then you have the correct swing for that person, if one is off than their swing is incorrect. For example Jim Furyk has a horribly ugly swing but he has matching swing elements and that is why he is a great player.
But andy is sort of right in this one, you dont have to have the perfect swing or be the best golfer to know how to teach it or know about it. Jim Suddee one of the top 100 teachers in the U.S can barley swing a club anymore teaches many tour pros and does a great job with them.
