In the wake of the massive earthquake in Haiti, there have of course been some threads on it. I saw in some of these threads people joking around about the matter, saying things like, "No one cares about Haiti." or 2012, and things of that nature.
Now im not saying everyone is talking like that, but personally, I think making comments or jokes about something like that is completely uncalled for and should not be joked about ever. Yes, the country was in bad shape before, but these are people. Hundreds of thousands dead, and people are going to joke? Imagine if you came home and your entire family was crushed dead under your house, while people in other countries joke about it?
I think it should be a bannable offense if you make comments like that. its just not right.
Sorry if this turned into a rant, but it kinda hit me today after church because my pastor went to Haiti and showed some very graphic, sad, awful video and pictures of everything that is happening there.
