Canon vixia HV30 HDV Camcorder

Is it worth 800 for it if i get a kit that includes a bag, extra battery, hood cap, a tiffen filter, 3 extra minidv's, and a wipe cloth...i want a new video camera and this seems like the best possible setup, any suggestions

1. buy refurbished (bhphotovideo.com works well)

2. spend a solid 30-40 hours on hv20.com. DO RESEARCH

3 be prepared to spend about $1000 (that's including camera)  to get decent accesories

i got lucky, the site(which my brother recommended as well) had an hv30 for under 500, and i to a hood cap and kit, all total for 560...so pumped to get out there and use it

The deal is O.K you could find it cheaper if you wait. I got mine used for $500 Canadian with only 10 tapes ran through it. Then a fisheye, extra batteries and I was at $700. It's a solid set-up ,but I would just search around kijiji,ebay or craiglist for a better deal.
