Really Bad Top Sheet Delam!!!

So, as I'm getting off the lift today, I look down at my 2010 Armada AR6's and notice this. I have no idea how it happened, but all I know is that I'm pissed because I've been only riding them since christmas. I know that it's only cosmetic, and won't affect how I ski, but should I contact Armada?

Contact Armada.

Even though it's just cosmetic and it won't affect your skiing, it could get worse and who knows, maybe the whole front top sheet could just eventually come off.

Have you been through some hardcore skiing since Christmas?
If it's just randomly coming off, and it isn't from skiing abuse, they should Warranty.

My '09 Anthems have like 3 of those as well as probably 20 not so bad ones and I've only skied on them (not even that hard) like 15 days this season, maybe 20.  Such a sick ski but it blows my mind how easily the top sheets get fucked

Well, I ski the park all day everytime I go skiing so it can possibly be from that.

I don't think Armada will do anything cause this is kinda normal for Armada skis cause their top sheets suck. My new T-Halls are starting to look like that but they are not as bad as your's.

they ski amazing all over the mountain and i love them so much but it's just ridiculous when my skis so much as touch eachother it peels off some laminate..

my 4frnts are pretty similar, and so are my friends' armadas there doing the exact same thing yours are.
actually I don't know of too many skis nowadays where the top sheets aren't getting fucked right off the bat.

Armada uses strong edges... that is exactly what happens when you kick your skis together or do something else stupid.

yo guys check this out...Armada was real cool and will warranty them for me!

Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue.  Based on your photos I can say with certainty that this is a warranty matter.  Whereas top sheet chipping may occur on any sidewall ski and an allowable amount of chipping is given; top sheet peeling is a different matter and indicates an error in the manufacturing process.  In an effort to get your skis replaced in a timely fashion please provide me with the following information:

Once I have this information I can provide you with an RA to send them in for warranty coverage.  If you have any further questions please let me know.  Thanks again.

was that through email? becuase i sent a very detailed email asking about a warranty around a month ago and still no response?...my edges have 2 places of pullout in 15 days of skiing, and i was hoping for warranty. just letting you know it was for edges and not topsheet

Just get some 2 part crystal clear apoxy, 2 metal scrapers, and a pair of c clamps and good as new.

most likely they wont because it's probably due to rail damage, but they should still have gotten back to you, try again - your email might have just gotten lost in the mix.

Oh man I hope that moose kid complaining about his chronics doesn't see this, he will see "topsheet chipping is fine, but peeling is a whole different matter" and flip.  The only thing that kid doesn't understand is that these are two different types of materials, the material that Line uses simply cannot chip, it peels instead. 

That's good to know that Armada is good with warranties.
