Anyone installed car speakers before?

if you have was it hard or worth it? i ordered some kicker speakers and im stoked and dont wanna pay a shit ton for some place to do it so give me some tips. thanks buds.

i did it, it's pretty easy. you just pop off your door panels and go for it. the only tough thing is fit, usually after market speakers are deeper so you need to put in spacers, but thats pretty easy. they also might have a different screw pattern (mine did), but if you can use a drill you're good. you should definitely just do it yourself.

getting the door panel off is the hardes part, seriously its not hard. If you're got an amp thats not really realated to putting the speakers in unless you're running new cables (which can be a bitch to get through the door loom)
You'll figure it out, google and you're pretty much gaurenteed to find instructions for your actual car

yeah i did. its really easy, the only annoying thing is feeding all the wires through from wherever the amp is to the speakers.
and you dont need a soldering gun. i just used male/female clips and sometimes just shrinkwrap tubing

Im a MECP gold installer w/ 8yrs exp and worked on mostly high end cars. i recommend soldering and taping the connections, water drains through the door from the windows. PM me what kinda car u have and ill tell you how to get the door off and wire colors.
