well seeing how a certain someone tried to make the parks for snowboarders only.... thats kinda lame. but theres a bigger difference between two parks at two different mountains, and two mountains who are connected sharing the same natural terrain.

I never said it was easy i said it wasn't a big deal. Think about the traverse in Mili bowl at brighton . It is a pain in the ass to get stuck behind a boarder but then multiple lines get packed out so you can pass anyone, boarder or gaper with ease.
Skiers have never been banned from anything for a extended period of time (decades). Its easy to say its no big deal but just like us they are passionate about their sport, and being rejected from a resort because some skiers feel that they are messing up the traverses, rightfully pisses them off

The way I see it, its not just the terrain, its Alta. Look at the people that ride there, work there, or run it. I don't see it changing anytime soon maybe just because of the fact that there would be A LOT of unhappy people. I love Alta, I love snowboarding, but I love the way Alta is and really honestly don't want it to change. ever.

I wouldnt be that angry. They call it Park Shitty for a reason. The only thing that would suck would be even more skier traffic at Alta. And to whoever said that snowboarders were once allowed at Alta, you are very wrong. Not once in Alta's history has a snowboarder been allowed up the lifts.

alta started in 1938, when there was no snowboards.

its an original north american ski resort and they keep in that way

just because a new sport came along does not mean alta is responsible for providing them with a place to do it.
