I'm going somewhere besides my home mountain (Pine Knob in clarkston, MI) for the first time and i'm super stoked... what's boyne like? how the parks? any powder or is it all man made snow?

box box flat bar rail (long and sick) and down box


rams head run- jumps

3 jump line.. not huge.. not bad though

corragated tube

flat up flat


Thats boynes park as of now.. hit it up!

Boyne Highlands park is kindof weird
first roller type thing has urban down rail and dfd rail
second roller has flat box and down box
then got an a frame and a line of 3 jjumps and a wallride
pipe is terrible

thanks guys that helps. i'm goin to boyne mountain, not highlands. i heard highlands park was terrible so we opted for the mountain

Go to crystal. I'm at boyne now in their parking lot and the park is weak compared to crystals unless you neeeed a half pipe.

opposing that.. i was at crystal wednesday and boyne today.. boynes rails are sick.. lots of nice rails.. but weak jumps... crystals rails suck but have sick jumps

crystal for jumps but shitty rails

boyne for smaller jumps but nice rails and pipe

Boyne Mtns park suuuucked last weekend as far as the Jump line was concerned.  They have an ice coated super pipe and a few jibs but the jump line literally consisted of 3 jumps with 5 foot gaps.  I was pretty disappointed!!!

Word dude. Skiing is what you make of it, whether that being in chile, or colorado, or Michigan. We can just sit around and bitch about the midwest, or we can get out there and shred what we've got. So much better than nothing. I love strapping my sticks on wherever I am, be it somewhere in Summit out west, or in my back yard on an 80 degree day in the summer. Were so lucky to be to ride anything. I know kids with serious injuries who are out for good that would kill to ski the skiing that blows here in michigan.
