so i was at my local resort and there was this guy smoking weed in the lift line,on the lift and while skiing. I was wondering why smoke weed while skiing? He did a cork 7 and probably doesnt even remeber that he did it or wat he was doing. How can you get stoked on landing sick spins while your high and cant remeber them?

The only test done to prove that weed kills brain cells was done on monkeys, but the test wasn't accurate at all. they put oxygen masks over the monkeys nose/mouth and instead of oxygen they pumped marjuana smoke into them. The amount of smoke was equivelent to 28 joints and this test was done in 4 minutes. No human can smoke 28 joints in 4 minutes. And the monkeys died because of this test.
Also it has been proven that even when your high your memory still remains around the same to when you're sober.

Some people enjoy skiing high. I like cruising groomers and skiing pow high, but I can't ski park high to save my life, rails become the biggest challenge ever.

i enjoy smoking when skiing mellow pow and park, it just makes me more relaxed and i feel smoother, but if im going to be skiing any tech lines or cliffs that have tricky landings then smoking is just out of the question for me.

and to the op, its just weed, so who cares? its not affecting you in anyway so dont complain

I personally love smoking. But I have to do shit when i do smoke, i can not just sit there. So I only smoke when I have a big paper to write or ski. When i smoke and ski. I throw on my tunes and I am solely focused on progression. I have recently learned backflips, lincoln loops, corked 7s 9s and 10s. All which i remember what i did and was crazy stoked over it. Smoking while skiing helps me focus and just chill out a little. And I dont have to smoke to be able to ski, i can throw all my tricks sober, skiing high just makes me appreciate it a hell of a lot more. Not to mention its hella fun haha.

same, i blase right before closing then i sleep the whole ride back, then i wake up and eat everything i can find. if i do it earlier in the day i tend to watch other people throw down.

even if you blew a bag you would be to rocked to ski unless your a feign, and to the OP smoking bud is not like drinking you remember everything basically I smoke and ski everytime i go up to the hill I already love and enjoy skiing sober but smoking some nice and lapping the park listening to music is so fun

On this whole weed topic...I hate how many times I've read this because it's so played, but for real...to each their own. For some (me) weed just slows time down, makes everything super fun, slightly decreases inhibitions but not to the point of danger, and makes my style more chilled out. The main negative while skiing for me is that it makes me slightly weaker (but I think that really my muscles just don't react as fast, so minor adjustments don't happen as quick) and as a result skiing big powerful lines isn't really an option. For park though it's awesome becuase since everything is so slow it's like you have more time to set tricks right, adjust in the air, and focus on style.

Hope that provides a solid insight. I can definitely see how it could not be good skiing if you were the type where you got all uncoordinated or super forgetful and shit
