Whats a good editing program for PC?

Ok, i'm running windows vista, so in terms of being able to run programs i'm in the clear. I was wondering which program I should use, I'm used to my schools editing program which is final cut pro, which needless to say is very good. Sadly its only for MAC's. I'm looking for something that runs in a similar fashion to final cut and can do similar things. For a camera I use a Panasonic HDC-TM15.

Suggestions?

never used it myself but cs4 seems good

Would entirely agree, have been using it for years and it's awesome..however if you have a gopro hd as i now have they just don't seem to work together..

(im guessing) give it time and they will start to work better togeather, think of when avchd came out compared to now
