Whats going on with the pressing over there? No activity in their cult, no updates on the wedsite... Im not worried about not getting my skis, i just really want to ski my new 181 Jeronimos soon! Has anyone heard anything?

i ordered the 171 jeronimos in november and just got my money back today because i was just told i wouldnt get mine till mid febuary. and i dont even believe the would have come by then with the way there going. there full of shit in  my opinion.

imo, most people that ordered on3p's did so because they wanted to support a core company just getting started, i ordered my caylors in august, and im fine with waiting a few more weeks for sure, no problems here.

Still. thats was completely out of line to say about a company that is just getting started and putting 110% effort in your skis so that you know when they show up you'll be completely confident you just were given some of the most bomb prove skis you'll ever ride. total dick move

i ordered my jeronimos back in september. we are all feeling it waiting for these guys to send us our skis. i gotta wish them the best tho and i know they will produce when hell of a product. i just wanna know why they didn't hire an extra hand when their buddy was out for 250 hours?

Completely true.
My tester Caylors are the best ski I have ever ridden.
I've owned prophet 130s, JJs, ARGs, Elizabeths, LIB NAS, dynastar...
You get the point.

They are by far my favorite...even when there isn't fresh, I love them as my all-mtn ski. Perfect flex, no chatter at speed, awesome light because of the bamboo, and TONS of energy return when you load them up.
It'll be worth the delay fellas...
Trust me.
The first time you ride them....It'll be WELL worth rhe delay.

how can something be so mediorcore compared to ON3P's ridiculously high quality? seriously ON3P hasn't been around half as long as other ski brands, i'm sure there are other skis which can compare.

i dunno what kind of skis they are but if the jeronimoes are pow skis, there isnt gonna be much pow by mid feb.

The construction on my pair is super good, and I'd assume this year's stuff will be better. However, the real difference for me lies in the ride quality. I have never been on a pair of skis that behaves quite like my Wrenegades--they're super damp, but catch me a little off guard all the time by how poppy they are. That, and they are confusingly good on hardpack.

alright well im a ski instructor and i get proform on just about any brand i want so what is the point in waiting for a pair of these when i can buy 2 pairs of skis now that are guarunteed to last longer than one pair of skis. Now, i can buy a park and powder ski. But im gonna laugh when your asking where the hell your on3p's are in april. Those guys are slackers.

Even if you are an instructor (which I highly doubt by your idiotic statements, and general lack of knowledge of the industry and respect thereof), that means you know fuck-all about skis or build quality. Teaching someone how to pizza and french-fry isn't hard, I've been a PSIA member for years, and proform claiming isn't cool either.
The point is that unless you've skied a pair, then you haven't a damn clue what you're talking about.
I bet I've owned more skis than you've ridden, and my ON3Ps are head and shoulders above them all.

Nobody's arguing with you, there's no reason why you have to buy any particular pair of skis, or from a certain company. Everyone has different standards in their gear, and on3p happens to fit these for a number of people, which is fine.

well for your information i am PSIA-AASI level 2 alpine certified. its no joke. im not saying they wouldnt be the best quality ski out there. they probably are after riding my friends moments, which is excatly why i was going with on3p. Independent ski companies do produce quality skis i just dont want my money sitting in someones pocket when im waiting all season for a pair of skis.When you open a business you either get a loan or have the money to start the company. in their case, they took everyones money months ahead of time to start up. These guys should have been producing these skis last year. And i just got 7 new feet of snow at my mountain in the last five days which is why i couldnt wait any longer.

Ask around maybe, they didn't use pre-order money to "start the business".
They were making skis before all that.
I have a pair.
Things happen. Some unforeseen issues came up and forced the schedule back. That's all.

You should see the emails this kid is sending to me.  His refund was issues like 2 minutes after I got the email but I am still getting emails where he is threatening to take us to court over a refund which was already given because the money hasn't showed up in his accout yet....even though it has been less then 24 hours since it was issued (usually takes 2-3 business days if not more).


People can call us whatever we want.  I think most people in here know we didn't just take orders and sit on our hands for several months.  But if people wanna call us crooks and full of shit, they are more than welcomed to.  There will always be haters.  Even though we've had generally positive feedback in the forums, you guys should should see some of the emails I gotten, so of which have come from TGR and NS members.  And this isn't people waiting for skis, rather people who just weren't stoked we were around.  Sure it sucks, but it is just the way it is.

honestly you're the only one who cares, so keep it to yourself and have some dignity and patience. i'm blown away by my on3p's along with most other people i've talked to about them, but if you're not interested and not willing to chill out, then just leave. it's that simple

also what ski company takes orders as far in advance as you're proposing? none. plenty of moment customers had to wait in their early years along with so many up and coming companies. everything has road bumps, unfortunately on3p has hit more than they deserve, but the one thing i can guarantee you is that they never took your money and sat on it while they figured out what they were gonna do with the company. they have been working tirelessly to get you your skis ever since you placed that order, so complaining about that is just plain bitchy

moment, pm gear, dps, praxis all had their years where it took a while for skis to come, yet those are the brands that people are most stoked on. for a first year ever just the fact that on3p is able to produce all these skis is something in itself, let alone the fact that the skis are unlike anything i've ever ridden before. you just need some patience, faith, and stoke

1. Nobody cares that your a certified instructor. It's not difficult, get over yourself.
2. Proform isn't fast so chances are you'll be waiting anyway, also, it's nothing to brag about, a lot of people can get it.
3. Most people i know who bought ON3P's did it because they have heard how awesome the ski and want to support a new company making great skis. Starting a new company always comes with way more obstacles than you expect.
4. Presale money doesn't sit in someones bank account, skis cost money to build, and suppliers want to be paid when they send out materials. Small companies can't just get a loan, especially right now, hence the presale.

if you wanna talk about money sitting in pockets, go talk to michael at 333 skis. This guy took money to build skis for testing purposes. he had no money, so he used buyers money (including mine) to build a couple pairs of skis that were not top quality, in fact, far from it. he built crappy skis and actually sent them to his customers with the intention of having to build them a second pair if they didn't like their first pair. Who does that? who sends out a shitty pair of skis just to make a "deadline"?

would you rather that? would you rather ON3P half ass the skis they are making just so you get yours on time?

i sure as hell wouldn't. I'd rather they take the time they need to make the perfect ski. And that is what they are doing. They are working 16+ hours days, non stop to produce the highest possible quality skis. They arent making the big bucks, they have committed their lives to building these skis, its not just a hobby.

shit happen my friend. they had a huge epoxy spill, health issues, shit their press caught fire! they are working non stop to make people happy, they arent fucking around...

We could come up with the cash to cover our huge insurance cost, salaries, rent, everything that went into the factory.  But material costs, especially when you put into your skis what we do, are very large.  In the current economic state, getting a loan is a joke and we raised as much invested equity a we could.  So presale helped cover the cost.  The skis are hugely under priced, IMO even at retail pricing, so getting them on presale pricing (or in the case of the kid saying we are full of shit slacker, proform) is very very much a good deal, even with the wait.

seriously, look at other boutique brands

pm gear charges around 800 for a pair of skis, praxis charges around 800, DPS charges like 900, moment is in the 750 range, and on3p normal pricing is 650 for the most expensive pairs and, from my experience, the skis perform better than the other places that charge more

i was able to get 2 pairs of on3p's for under 1000...why the fuck should i be impatient about waiting a few months for them to get here??

people need to calm down...take the hate elsewhere

and most of us wouldnt have been able to afford them if the retail was what it should be(closer to dps/parxis) so the pre sale was like a sexual orgy of ski buying and money saving for us all. ya the wait has been long(195 days for me), and all though every day that goes by makes me die a little bit, i know when they come i will be as giidy as a school girl at a taylor swift concert

Word to the last couple posts. Trust iggyskier to get you a quality pair of skis. I've felt up a couple pairs, from what I can tell they are really nice. I haven't skied on any but I have not heard a single legitimate bad review about On3P. Don't worry about the length of time, some botique brands take a while to get the skis out, especially if they are pressed on location individually.

Enjoy your Jeronimos when you get them!

Thank you for refunding his money. I will sleep better tonight knowing that he wont be representing the same company that has given me two of the best seasons that I have ever had! I just sanded and resealed my bamboo sidewalls, polished my topsheets, and stone ground my bases two days ago. Everytime I get on a chair people tell me that my skis look amazing and the questions begin. They can't believe I'm skiing something 120 under foot and rockered when it hasn't snowed here in a week. Then I lap chair 2 with them and almost without fail they want to know the web address. on3pskis.com. Thats O N 3 P skis, all one word, dot com. Without fail I've said that every ski day! These skis have upped my game and I would be willing to let anybody who has a pair of Caylors on order use them for a day so they can see why its so worth the wait. Even you tski, but you're still retarded. I'm so glad I've decided to support the local guys instead of the corporate rapests.

Guys be patient. The skis will be sick. ON3P is working harder than most of you can imagine. Oh and with regards to waiting, from the time I paid for mine, it took me two and a half years to get my skis (test pairs), so stop your bellyaching. People who ordered pre-sale skis got a ridiculous discount, and with that comes risks. In this case the only issue is time because the skis they are turning out are unbelievable. Go read some Billy Goat reviews on TGR. The production quality is amazing.
