the girl who died in the show that they base the musical off of is all based on an actual girl, who that actually happened to, so they pulled that shit hard and it wont be back

im mid season 3 of the wire and i am starting to agree. it is a bit slow but unbelievably good. there are so many characters that are just good characters, aside from the likeable ones even...

i think it really depends where dexter goes with season 5, it has its flaws and is a way different type of show but it is still really really good. the office (u.s.) was amazing until just about season 5 where it became more of a drama about lame romances than a comedy about basically nothing. i dont know im fairly picky about shows but even amongst my favorites the wire makes them all seem kinda weak.

Agreed.

Season 3 is incredible...and it all get's better from there. I'll never look at a series the same again and will have unmet expectations because of the wire.

All these British Office fan boys. I really tried to watch the British office and it sucked ass. It was the most depressing thing I have ever seen, everyone on that show is ugly as fuck, like hard to look at ugly, the British Jim is a whiny bitch, the British Dwight is creepy as fuck and fucking crazy looking. British Pam what the fuck, seriously what the fuck.

The only thing that is decent about it is Ricky Gervais and he is only slightly better than Michael.

American Office >>>>> British Office.

You guys only like it because it was first and less people have seen it so you feel special. It seriously sucks ass.

Don't get me wrong I watch that show a lot and can't wait to watch the series finale wednesday but it isnt a good show it's just filthy and twisted

While all the sex and screwed up stories (ex. christian nailing his dead wife's mom right after she died) are definitely entertaining...it certainly is not an 'indisputably best show'

its always sunny is obviously the best comedy, no ones going to argue that but it isnt even comparable to a show like the wire or dexter.

and nip/tuck...really?

maybe the season when the carver was in it, that show is fucking retarded and jumped the shark like two seasons ago.

i just love nip/tuck because it always has the sickest stories and little twists, and it kinda pushes the envelop as to what can be on a television show.
