Strange Exporting Problem Prem Pro

I have been making an edit using my gopro hd footage. I converted it into another mpeg4 format with streamclip and all was dandy until i tried to export it for the final thing. The final edit that gets produced doesn't look anything like my timeline (different parts of the footage are used) has anyone come across this problem before and know of any solutions?

I always had problems come export in Premiere, and never could figure out what exactly was causing it. Try exporting using the media encoder and chose a quicktime file, and under the presets there should be a 720p version, then scroll down and pump the bitrate up to like 15,000 or something and see if that gets it to exort (we did that on my friends computer last night and that was the only way we could get it to export).

I don't have a problem exporting a playable high quality version it's just when i watch it back some of the clips aren't quite right for example 2 play from the beginning rather than the clipped down edited version in my timeline which in 1 case means i get 20 seconds of my hand over my camera

Make sure you have the timeline selected when you are exporting, other than that I have no idea man.

Been messing around with it, seems like if you shut prem pro down and re-open it re-syncs (sometimes), ran a couple of updates and it seems fine now though..for now
