HD Gopro Wont record video

I have the brand new gopro HD full charged with a 16gb SDHC Class 6 "AData" memory card and for the life of me it will not film video. Every time i press the record button it will beep three times count up once on the counter and turn off. When i put the memory card in my computer there are files with 0 bytes. Not sure if anyone here can help me, but it is very frustrating.

I was able to take still pictures, but thats it.

Trying to say this in the best way possible, is it on picture mode? or video mode

have you tried another memory card?
i know it recommends class 4 OR higher, but gopro hd is known for having trouble with particular brands and types of memorycards...

Yes it is in video mode. I did get it to work very briefly yesterday, but it shut off by itself after two blinks of the light. Unfortunately i dont have another memory card.
If I knew it was going to be this big a pain in the ass, i would have said fuck it and never bought one.

you're just unlucky...

shoot a mail at GoPro support, they usually reply within 24h...

I tried another memory card and it seemed to work fine, what a pain. Maybe i got a defective memory card from the get go. There all pieces of shit made in China anyways. Nice quality control.

might be a compatibility issue; don't throw it away yet, it might work fine in another camera !!

i got a lexar card and it works no problem. I really think its weird why some cards dont work.

Same thing going on with mine, beeps 3 times when I try to shoot video, pics, anything. Nothing working,... wait, I think my sd card was locked, just took it out in the middle of reading this thread. Slid a litte piece on the card now it works I'm pretty sure
