Jib Academy or Semi Formal

Alright so I just found out that my school's semi formal is the night before Jib Academy. I really want to do jib academy seeing that its at my home mountain (Holiday Valley) and I've really been pushing myself hard this season to learn new stuff. BUT my girlfriend really wants me to go to semi and she's going to be pretty pissed if I tell her I cant go because I want to go skiing. My parents leave every friday night to go to my place at Holiday Valley and they said that I have to pick one or the other. So which one should I pick? I'm leaning towards doing Jib Academy but I'm not sure yet.

Definitely go to semi. Your girlfriend must have been looking forward to it for a long time, and from her point of view, it probably seems like you ski ALL THE TIME anyways. (as awesome as skiing is) so just make one exception for her, it would probably mean the world to her that you made this sacrifice. There will be other opportunities like this one, trust me. im experienced. just go to semi and make ur girlfriends day. otherwise you might lose her....

id say Jib Academy, unless you really fucking love this girl, i was just broken up with by a girl i really liked because i "spend too much time on skis and not enough time with (her)" so shit like that can happen if you dont split your time between skiing and girls wisely

or try to go to semi and get a ride up to the hill later that night or the next morning
