Before I start the thread, I searchbarred many different combos of possible thread names so don't bust my balls.

Okay, I'm curious to know what tricks people have learned this season and what tricks you guys are trying. It looks to me from what I've seen that everyone I know is progressing rapidly so I figured I would ask NS how everyone else is doing as well.

As for myself, this being my first full year in the park, I have just worked on getting more comfortable on jumps and rails/boxes so I haven't learned many physical tricks aside from some new rail stuff.

If you're just going to be a bitch and whine about how people have already made threads like this, fuck off, I haven't seen any for this season.

Ive been trying to do Kangs consistantly for like 3 years, by the time Ive got them decently locked the years over.  The next year I am a bitch about it again.

Well, I can kinda do 3s now now and their a lot less sketchy. Today I was landing too much in the back seat, but I know what I'm doing wrong and I'm gonna try to fix it tomorrow.

I kinda got pretzels down today, but I want to get switchups down too.

Try to center yourself more towards the front of your skis that should help with the backside problems

sorry to claim but, yesterday i got nuggets on smaller rails, tailpresses on up rails, on smaller jumps nollie to late tail tap 180's, and then ive been playing around with shifty's to swich off of a cannon box, and i finally dropped a cornice that was taller than me.

i just started skiing this year and started park 4 days ago i can now do almost any box, tried a couple smaller rails, and we have a series of lift poles set up that iv been hitting those have messed me up so far, but starting to learn to ride switch and do 180s

ive learned switchups then 270 off both ways and ive been trying 7s but thats not going well i get to 540 and pussy out or i throw it soo hard i do a cork 630 and fall. jump is proly to small tho

this year I've learned surface sw-up.. pretzel out.. lip in on a down street rail.. and 180in, 180out on a fat box. But I can't do 3's.. just some little 180's on some little kickers

Today i got 270's on, switch ups (no blindsides though, i can't figure those fuckers out) a blindsole (kind of) and got one or two hippy killers in. It was a successful day for me

I really wanna get 2s onto something other than a foot wide box but when I tried them onto urban style down rail I almost died...Also I wanna get swups on downrails and perfect my 3s and learn 5s...and also have as much fun as I can on real snow.

trying to make 7's cleaner in the air.  Pretty much trying to make all my spins clean / controlled floaters and tucking my knees farther up for grabs.

Also trying to build up my non-existant rail game.  So far I have blind 270's out.  And extremely sloppy 270's on.  More like Flailing arms/poles hilarious 270 on.

i have failed at backflips. (tried twice got close then fucked up my back and havnt tried since.) also i failed so far at blind 4's out.

but..

i have gotten tail 3's, true nose 3's, safety 3's, frontflips, safety 5's, k-feds, fs switch ups. and ive cleaned up my 270's on, blind 270's out and my 7s :)

Sorry to double post but i was wondering how ambitius people are abot learning new tricks? For example do you try to learn a new trick everyday.

I personely try to learn a new trick everyday or i am mad at myself.

i just learned a bunch of rail tricks this year

last year at the end of the year i could do:
front 2 off, back 2 off, baaaad front switch ups, 7s

this year so far i can do:
k-feds, front 4s, same jump tricks

sorry about the claim (if it seems like it) but i'm just stoked on it. haha

I landed my first front yesterday off a little drop. than i went super stoked and did my first bs switch up on a down rail.

things i havent gotten are back flips (last one owned my collarbone) rodeos and mistys. aswell as 7s

this year i got good at rails and boxes so far. i got switch ons, im comfertable both feet foward. i can blind 270 out and up to front 450 out. so i just mix all those together.

I got slide to 50-50 to nollie 180 out. I'm about 50% on my 5's and I'm just tryin to sack up and spin bigger jumps.

well i can do 3's off of pretty much anything now. Also tried fronts. Landed on my back. It sucked.
We dont really have any proper jumps yet though, so it's kind of limited what one can learn here.

things ive learned this year so far: rodeo 5s, a couple of flat 3's on accident, k-feds, 2 on to down rails, penciled 7's,

working on: rodeo 7's hippie killers, pretzels (2 in back 2 out)

So far i have pretty much only gotten rail tricks this year aside from a back flip i haven't gotten a 7 this year but i did get 4 on, front 630 out, back 450 out, switch 1 on nollie 1 out, dub switch ups, front 3 switch ups on flat boxes, all 8 except back to back either way and regular front to front so i want to get my jump tricks up to par in the next few weeks

Zero spins on really small jumps, did two in a row and 180ed to switch on the roller before the jump and felt awesome.

Disasters/ jump the flat and hit the down on a flat down. Maybe I'll throw in a 270 next time.

I've gotta say that I've had a pretty good few months so far. Got rid of THE FEAR, so stuff just seems to be slotting into place.

Tricks learned:
- 3s and mute 3s.
- 5s.
- Punch and superman fronts.
- Backs.
- Lincolns.
- Decently high mutes out the pipe.

Tricks in progress:
- Misty 5s that aren't sloppy as hell.
- Switch superman fronts.
- 7s.

Yesterday at Northstar I learned 360 leading mute (spin left and grab right ski with left hand) and shifty tail tap 180 on the corregated (sp?) up rail.

I really really want to try knuckle frontflips or punch fronts though. Ive seen a friend get absolutely FUCKED up trying one (severe back problems for rest of life, no park for rest of life) so im pretty much terrifyed of trying them
