Im never going to watch it because of poor advertising.

I have no fucking clue what the movie is about because all that the adds do is show some images of the film with quotes from magazines and media saying how good the movie is. I dont care what rolling stones thinks about the movie, I need to know what the hell it is about

To those saying they don't want to see it cause the "previews don't show anything about it" do a quick Google search for fucksakes about what the movie is about. Or hell, go to Wikipedia, Jesus.

its almost identical to the movie The Road, that also just came out recently.

Personally i agree Denzel killed it.. but lets be honest... nothing really actually happened.. it was good. Not that good tho.

it was decent, and then the ending was good. they could have done a more impacting ending, but they did fine. i would have wanted some more development of eli's past. not too much, because the mystery was good. and some more development of his character and personality.

oh and i thought that mila kunis wasn't too great. when she came on screen like 12 people in the theater yelled "JACKIE!" it's gonna be a while before she can play serious roles.

The movie was pretty good, but it borrowed a lot from Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower. Also, the 'blind prophet' crossing the wasteland to deliver god's word is not as original as some people think.

The cinematography was fantastic, though a few of the scenes seemed unnatural and forced.
