Okay, im a snowboarder not much of a skier here but are having special bindings a necessity to freeskiing cause i wanna just not buy bindings and use my dads old ones but they are ancient. Just try to let me know if those will work fine when in the park
well the safe thing to do would be to buy new bindings cuz if your gonna be jumping do u really wanna rely on ancient bindings? You dont need special bindings for freestyle skiing, but old bindings are probably not the best. Imagine if they break you could seriously bust up ur ankles or knees so its worth it to spend money on bindings and not hospital bills
For one thing Gear Talk. Another is I would just get some new binders, 15 years seems a little old to me, just chill in the B/S/T forums and see if you can get a deal.
