I just scored a free pair of '07 Dalbello Krypton Pros from work. I love working in a ski shop. They dont even fit me right, but fuck it. They're free, and I'm a bootfitter. WIN.

What's the coolest ski gear (or just anything) you've ever gotten for free or won or something. (try not to use "my parents bought me" type things lol.

I snapped my snowboard a couple years ago, and the mountain I was working for gave me one of their demo boards. It was a rental demo, with the nose and tail protectors, zero flex pattern, and rode terrible. But hey, it was free and I still use it for urban.

i won a cirtificate for a free pair of rossi's last year but they decided to let me know as i ordered them that i'd have to pay 200 if i wanted the s7's and that's without bindings, not that that's a bad deal at all, but i sold the certificate to ns'er that was dying to get his hands on the s7's so with that cash i ended up spending 30 of my own dollars to get a pair of very lightly used arg's from a different ns'er, stoked.

CAuse I hear about my friends winning skateboards and stuff all the time. But the thing is that I need it more than them, cause I pay my own stuff, their parents pay there stuff. Kinda lame-o

a couple of NS stickers with my edias/contrast order...
and i got my skipoles for free when i bought my skis...

also got free helicoils and binding remount when my heelpiece was torn out...
(^^im friends with the shop owner)
and i got a free chunk of skiwax from someone...

thats it; i don't get most of my stuff for free :(

All expenses 3 day trip to Copper from the Red Bull 1976 games.

350 bucks at the casino.

I also won the Red Bull Cold Rush voting thing, so I got a Dakine backpack with a couple shirts and a pair of Smith Phenoms in it.

And the local Giro rep hooked it up with a new pair of Basis goggles after I broke my Roots.

i won a pair of Praxis skis last year at a rail jam, where the deal was i could choose any of their skis and they would make them for me. but praxis is barely existing so i haven't gotten them yet :(

i had an internship last year at sugar bowl, CA, where i worked for free for 425 hours, so they gave me a pair of Palmer P04s, which i traded to a buddy for THA187s

mount snow gave me a smith maze helmet and smith I/Os this winter because i'm "on hill staff" in the marketing dept :) also a neff hat and these sweet sunglasses:

One time at my skatepark (which closed down) we had a raffle and i spend 5$ on tickets, and got an arms length of them, i ended up winning 2 skateboards, a hoodie, a 24pk of red bull, a hat, and a shirt.
