So I'm either heading to Michigan State or the U next year. Now it really just comes down to if the U's engineering program is alright. I'll be studying Mechanical specifically. So is anybody in it? or know anything about it?

i did orientation for the engineering program, and was in civil for the fall semester. from everything that i heard while in it, the U has a damn good engineering program, and i think was just recently certified again

pm zerospinskier189, I know he's doing engineering at the U. He said he thought it was pretty good though.

I'm currently in my third year of mechanical engineering at the U. It's a decent program. Overall it ranks 70 and Michigan State ranks 43 for engineering schools. The Biomedical Engineering program at the U is definitely the best program offered here but I do not find that particular field to be terribly interesting. You pretty much have to ask yourself what your priorities are. If skiing is equally or more important to you than getting the best possible education I would come here. If not you should look elsewhere. I don't regret my decision to come here at all. Also, I would recommend spreading your bachelors out over five years. Doing it in four is a bitch.
