Here's an interesting vid i came across. It discusses how Haiti has had a history of natural disaster and how the people of Haiti have made themselves prone to these types of things (not earthquakes).
Although the mass destruction and lives taken was an extreme tragedy, I kind of want to say that this catastrophe was almost a blessing in disguise. Almost no one knew about the exact kinds of struggles (aside from poverty) these people went through before this event.
