its another fox news thread!... except its not really anti fox news as it is against this physicist guy who i thought was pretty legit talking about M-Theory and whatnot, but turns out to be a noob who whores himself out to the media to get attention by fear mongering everyone for 2012 and simply spewing out lies.

And i think its BS not because its on Fox News, but just because of the way he presents the matter and how its all set up just to scare people.


The bit that really pissed me of is the "Scientists are to blame" bit at the end. Its fucking retarded and just goes and makes the bible bashing morons who watch Fox go onto think that scientists are the devil or something, as if they could have prevented anything from happening either way.

Also, i have done a bit of research on the 2012 thing, and it does look like its going to be nothing special. i'd be interested to see some legit data to confirm the fact that it will infact be a stronger than usual year though, because everything i have found so far says the opposite.

I didn't think he was fear mongering at all, he is a very optimistic person and believes in humanity, jut warning people about solar storm cycles. The worst part of that video was how retarded the anchors were, no one is that dumb, they have to be playing down to their audience. I hate how she talks like physics is so hard to understand that its a miracle that she could decipher anything he was saying, stupid cunt.

It is true that he simplifies his material incredibly so that his audience can understand, and you have to admit that he is one of the most articulate and well understood physicists (by the public ofcourse).

I really would have. im not the type to bash Fox news blindly, and it was more directed at the way he presented the argument and how it just seemed like he was saying what Fox wanted him to. im sure he would have done the same on any news station.

and my point is that i have seen no research pointing to a stronger solar cycle thing in 2012, outside of 2012 books etc. which are pretty much BS. all the data i have seen shows a considerably weaker cycle.



also, there are no alignments occurring during 2012 to whoever said it.
