abek, also a NSer and maker of that video you showed, ductaped it to his pole as well...

use the arm thingy for it....

best way ever
took a long time though
used the mount that it came on in the box
but its awesome
PM me or post in here if you have any questions
my brother figured this out

1. take the big square piece that it was attached to and cut out the mount
2. drill through the middle of the mount
3. find a flat screw to screw in to the mount
4. takes a while to make it flush so the clip will slide in
5. screw mount into pole handle

my joysticks had a screw already in there to hold the strap, but you can probably just drill into your own pole handle

Tripod mount accessory on a monopod is how i do mine. So it ends up being on a super light boom that extends from 1.5 feet all the way up to 4.5 feet

no, just use the head mount with the straps

it has a hole in it and when you pull the strap out from the bottom so the plastic face is showing you put the tip of your pole through there and then rubber band the straps down so they dont flap everywhere.

it works perfectly, PM me for any more info

Can someone find a link of how to make a handle or put a video up themselves... Mine arrives tomorrow and the handle it the first thing im addressing and I dont wanna mess it up

sams method sucks, use my lots of glue, hole in it for pole strap screw and tape method
it wont spin around

damn, i have scott poles and the handle is rubber :(
anyone have an idea on how i can attach a mount to a rubber handle?

the only way i can think of is glue

is there a screw on the top of your handle? or scotts dont have that, do they?

what kind of glue?

my first attempt was making 3 deep slits in the top of the handle and then epoxy the mount to it but the epoxy was too hard and didnt grip well on the rubber...

same thing with me..

i pulled the grip off, put a piece of wood dowel down the center of the pole, then put the grip back on. so then i cud screw the mount right into the wood. problem solved

That is what I am going to try, but I don't have my poles at my summer house. I know the poles are too skinny down at the bottom, so I may wrap some duct tape around the bottom of one so it is thick enough and then it should be prime. I would really suggest getting the handlebar mount anyway, it can be really convenient.

For a cheap way to make a pole mount you can just take a reflector from a bike, and put a mount on the flat reflector side, and then you can put the reflector on the pole. IDK if that makes any sense but here's a pic of a reflector if you don't know what I mean.
