Agreed. As a backpacker I find Les stroud much more realistic and informative, but for shock and awe, bear grylls takes the cake. Who is more badass? The crazy canadian. Who has more people watching his show due his jackass style antics? Bear.

Despite the fact that bear stays in hotels and shit, he still does some pretty crazy shit and I respect him, but not in the same way I do Les Stroud.

Yes and I saw it, but those two were surviving on their own. other than that less goes out alone. And actually survives.

Bear grylls is in no way hardcore. His show is a joke. He is a joke
