what the hell is this? just went to the event schedule for X and saw mono skier-X? is this for real mono skiing?

If you guys watched the whole coverage of that course on regular skis as well, you know how many skiers were eating shit on that kicker. So many people went down, so hard... and then, this dude on a sit ski comes out and launches it. Absolutely insane. If I'm ever paralyzed, I hope I can be a quarter as cool as that dude.

i personally know one of the guys that will be racing this year Jim Martinson and he reps Crystal Mountain by Dropping thirty Footers in his chair and for being in his late Fifties its just plain insane. SO MUCH Respect.

and keep in mind, that when they fall, they can't do anything but suck it up. Their chances of breaking their necks is so much higher then with normal skiers.

I used to ski with KJ vd Klooster, it's real impressive. You can see the gapers helping him on a flat surface, but just leaves them in awe when he hauls ass. he was even trying backflips on an airbag last year. we lost him once on a deep pow day though, we just could not see him anymore and he couldn't get out.
