That would be so legit. For a while here in Cali we had this proposed vending machine idea that went hand in hand with the new ID system they are trying to do. They are trying to get people to switch from paper perscriptions over to ID cards, and then the ID cards were going to be able to be swiped into these vending machines, and then you could buy weed out of them.
A couple clubs tried them out I think but it never really caught on. Sold in liquor stores to anyone over 21 would be really cool. It would be interesting to see what the DEA did in that situation. They raid our clubs all the time but if it was a state run liquor store it would be much harder for them to pull that off. I mean, they probably still would, but it would be an even more blatant disregard for the law and state's rights.
Supposedly in West Hollywood weed is legal and the local cops can't/won't bust you for it.
