Replying to Good skier who has never done freestyle

Im buying some SPK boots, Marker Jester bindings, and Line Anthem skis for freestyle.
Will that setup allow me to effectively start learning to freestyle.
I can do any trail and parallel ski moguls well, just have never done freestyle as Ive had boots that were way too loose.
Should I start off with only small jumps, or jumps and rails? Or should I go ahead and pay for a few beginner lessons that Mount Snow offer, might get a discount as I work up at the mountain (mkt and events).
