sorry for the small thread jack, but reading this made me wonder, how much gas do we go through a season just for skiing? thats the expensive part of it, especially you all with the hour and a half or more commutes.

7 to Revy from Calgary? Seems a lot longer than it took me this year, only like 5.

I got a 2 hour drive/2.5 hour bus ride to Powder King
or a 45 minute drive to my friends cabin at Purden, and that leaves a 2 minute walk to the lifts.

yeah actually 5 sounds probly a bit better, just last time i went it was with a ski club trip and a greyhound bus, but I think we took a longer way to avoid some of the sketchier highways. But damn I love revy, so much snow.
