Tonight Jon Hartley from BroBomb.com is live in the studio. Jon has some interesting theories and thoughts about skiing culture and it's sure to be a fun conversation.

There's a Ski Show forum on NS now and it'd be great to see some activity in there.

Bottom line:

Tanner Hall's incredible skiing ability doesn't in any way negate his abysmal/effort-laden "costume".
This notion that the most talented athletes deserve the most face time with a camera is stupid. I want to watch Tanner ski, I don't give a shit about him as a person.

Similarly, I don't care about actors, artists, musicians, as PEOPLE, or rather, not simply because they're those things. Being a good skier doesn't guarantee that you have anything worthwhile to say.

i totally disagree (respectively). The best representative imo is a guy/girl that doesn't get paid to ski but does anything in their power to ski every day no matter what. So basically... the average kid on this site 6 years ago.

Kaya is doooooope. I watched that edit posted in the other thread and her style is on point. Nothing's hucked, it's all grabbed, and she looks like she's having a blast. She legitimately deserves some shots in a big flick.

I'd say Level1 simply scooped up another talented rider before anyone else did. That's their MO. Props to Freedle and Co. for bringing her onboard, pumped to see her shots.
