what are riders using for safety equipment these days? i see a lot of helmets in the park. a local store sells a lot of dakine products, such as hip pads and wrist guards. do skiers use wrist guards, or are they too bulky to hold ski poles?
something like 90% of concussions are a result of your jaw slamming closed, vibrating your skull. so - with a mouthguard, you will prevent 90% of the concussions you may get over your skiing life.
I wear hip/butt pads for those icy falls here in the east. Helmet, Id rather spend $100 bucks on a helmet than $4000 on a hospital and knee pads since I shattered my knee last season
