Yo this is just a heads up to anyone who did the UW Terrace Rail Jam back in November. Remember how we had to purchase that insurance policy for $17? Well, I called up the insurance company yesterday and the policy is still active. We gotta write a letter to the company to cancel the policy by Feb.1 or $17 will keep getting pulled from your bank account every month. Such a scam...it was complete bull shit that we ever had to get that policy in the first place to compete in that jam. It was 100% for this insurance company to make money.
If you guys keep getting those post cards from XSI insurance like I do, the Utah address on those is who you have to send the cancellation letter to.
Oh and lucky for us, there was a problem with the pending process for all of the applications from that jam, so our policies only recently went into effect. If the policy had gone into effect back in November when we applied, we would have been down almost another $40 for insurance premiums for December and January.
