Can't go wrong with either one of those choices.  My friend owns both of those goggles, but now he prefers to wear his Fixes all the time.

EG2s were way too big for my face; my nose could fit inside!

so try both first; if the EG2 fits; you have one of the sickest goggles out there!

^^EG2s didnt fit under my helmet as well....
(might be due to me or my helmet; but if you're rocking a helmet, try the combination out before buying ! )

I have eg2. The lens doesn't become cloudy, and  view is super wide!
But be careful, eg2 bronze lens may make you hard to see after 3 p.m. even in a bright day.
Besides, eg2 is a good goggle.

Thats because ppl like you are sorta retarded and dont understand or look into a product before buying it. The Electric goggles are SIZED!!! EG.5 and .5S are for smaller faces, the EG1 and 1S are for the average face, and the EG2S (due to there not being an EG2 because they are so big) are for LARGE - XL faces and/or are designed to fit large. SO TRY THEM ON FIRST!! but they are dope goggles, and fixes are good too.

did you actually contribute anything of more value than my initial comment that the EG2's are large?

you called me a retard and blabbered about EG1 and EG5 goggle while the thread isn't about those goggles, its about the scott FIX and the EG2....

And for your information, i am not a retard.
I did look into the product and tried them on in the shop. I didn't buy em because of that reason.

And it's not an EG2S, it's an EG2 and it comes with a spherical lens.
Designating the goggle as EG2S would implie that there's also an alternative EG2 version with a flat lens...

+the way you formulate it, you make it seem as if the EG1, EG2 and EG5 are all the same goggles but in different sizes. While they are 3 completely different goggles that also happen to be in different sizings.

get your shit straight before e-insulting someone you don't even know lil fucker!

EG2s if they fit your face i have them so comfy and the MOST peripheral vision out there but fixes are dope too can't really go wrong

You need to learn to read, i did not call YOU a retard, i called the ppl who buy goggles that are too big but just wanna look cool idiots and i seem to recall you said that you got properly fitted ones. So I am telling you that you should stop calling people fuckers when you are the one who cant even read. and i was providing with some background info so that the buyer may realize that the eg2s are not his best option. I realize that the thread was not about the 1 and .5 models but it was there to enrich the post and help the buyer pick the BEST possible goggle. and also you just read it that the .5, 1, and 2 are the same goggle just different sizes, well THEY ARE, THEY LOOK DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THE SIZE, the spherical lenses are not just for looks, its to have the goggle fit slightly different the the cylindrical version. I know my shit, and you now made a fool of yourself due to you lack of reading capabilities.

i like the scott fixes better. The eg2's are TOO big imo, and they don't fit well under helmets.

You get an excellent field of view with the fixes and they're super durable. (go to the store and squeeze both ends of the fix together, you'll see what i mean)

false. actually its because spherical lenses are much easier on the eyes. your eyeball isnt flat, so why would your lens be?

I thought it had something to do with the fact that non-spherical lens's make the ground look round and sphericized ones take away that effect. Causing less distortion. I could be wrong though.
