I took all of the pads out so i could wear it with a hat and goggles underneath which works perfectly fine, but i did somehow manage to lose those pads so they will not be included. No major impacts on it. It has scratches and marks on it, mainly the front, but they are purely cosmetic. There is a GoPro mount on it already so if you have one, you are in luck!
