Deer Valley!

Ok, so one of my friends invited me to deer valley to stay in her mansion, heli-pad and all. Pretty stoked. Unfortunately she refuses to ski anywhere else because she says "its the nicest place ever and number 1 ski resort 3 years running". SOOOOO i think im stuck shredding there, what are your opinions on it, i want to hear whats up with it...

deer valley is not as bad as you think it is. there is some pretty fun stuff there. nothing compared to BCC or LCC. but its definitely still fun.

deer valley has the smallest mountains of all the resorts in Park City if I recall.

I hear they buckle your boots for you even and carry your shit around for you.

Most everyone on here hates on DV super hard but all the times I've been there I have had an amazing time. All the old folks don't shred pow there so you can have stashes up to a week after a storm untouched. There are also some fun cliff drops and shit around just have to look for them.

here is the drill.  I live on PC.  I do not ski deer valley on a regular basis but i do go there once or twice a year.  Staying in a deer valley home is fucking sick many of them are ski in/out.  You will go to some kick ass restaurants that have world class chefs.  Deer valley has decent terrain.  If you get lucky and have snow your powder will not get skied out nearly as quickly as pcmr (the deer valley crowd doesnt like to go off the groomers).  If you need to get away you can take the bus to pcmr and get your park fix in they just opened kings and its siiiick

I've been there. Empire bowl is where it's at, the Daly chutes are pretty tough there.

Deer Valley is pretty sick they still have some good bowls and steep terrain but there is no park, parkcity is literally right down the road tho and u can probably catch a bus to go down there, so ur in a sweet situation

Daly chutes if your not a pussy. Get into the tree and you will find a bunch of fun ass shit. I worked there for 3 months, it sucked but you can get by. No park still i think

thats dope but if you are a park rat and if you have to pay the lift ticket then i would say fuck it. thats alot of money to go to a mountain with no park. unless there is fresh pow.

Dear valley is descent. All ski resorts in utah are.
But seeing as how we have not had such a great summer thus far.
It will be tough to have as much fun as usual if u are a park rat.
There is no snowboarding aloud there i am sure you know which when there is snow means more powder runs for you.
It is still just outside of downtown pc which is one of best ski towns in the country if not the world
A large amount of your vacations turnout will depend on how the weather is.
When do you plan on visiting?

yeah only go to deer valley if there is pow. its real easy to get to pcmr too if you really want to ski an epic park (the resorts touch, you can ski to either one if you wanted) and if you dont want to risk the poaching fine then just take the free bus in park city to pcmr (only like ten minutes)
