So i realize that all skis chip. It just seems that my line chronics are chipping alot on the inner side of the tales. When i say chip, i mean the topsheet is kinda being pulled up...like the rail is getting under it. My last pair ened up delaminating there..though still ridable. Im just wondering if this is my fault or so alot of skis tend to chip there.

using sandpaper or just a file. ive heard of this before but didnt end up doing it for fear i would mess something up.
the past pair i cut off the pulled up part and filled the area with epoxy and that worked well
other suggestions? is it me, or do skis chip there often
What should i use to file down the edges? Does anyone have any pictures of filed edges? That would be really helpful. Thanks +karma
