Sorry for the delay, let's get this back on track

RULES
-Post one photo only
-Try to take the photo during the period of the contest, but this is not required
-You cannot post something you posted in a previous contest
-Winner cannot submit a photo
-No hating other people's photos, constructive criticism is fine

Topic:

michelle has chosen that the topic be food photography

This is what she wrote about it:

Well for myself I could look at food photography all day, everyday. Whether it be studio work, on location in a restaurant, or even in someone's own kitchen, it has the capacity to affect so many senses. The visual sense with the colors and detail, the way you can even sometimes taste or smell the food, or even the mental connection, all is so inspiring and not to mention mouthwatering. Now these don't have to be shots of gourmet food, it could be some Annies Mac and Cheese or chocolate chip cookies. No need to break out the motor oil or shoe polish to get the food looking perfect, take it as it is!

Oh your close on this one.. Im in school, therefor my diet consists of ramen, hot dogs, ham sandwhichs, and occasionally some chips. Not much worth shooting ha..

Yes and colors are uncorrected. A tad sharpening. I did it using a custom made lightcube.

Here's my entry.... I know it isn't food so I'll let one of the contest creators decide whether or not to allow it.  Like most University students I don't exactly feast on the most photogenic foods, so I improvised. To me, the fridge is a magnificent place to find food in the middle of the night when I'm looking for some good munchies, and that is what I'm trying to portray in the pic

These contests are WAY too drawn out, in my opinion. This one started 19 days ago and we haven't even made it to the first voting thread yet. If they already haven't, people will start to lose interest. Just my two cents.
