Sending SAT scores

I placed an order on collegeboard.com on december 15 to meet an application deadline on january 1.  Little did I know, they sent them on january 10, as I looked today.  Now Ive got all my  applications due on the 15th, anybody know if they will accept sats late?  Am I gonna pay all my application and collegeboard fees and not get accepted anywhere?

i wouldnt worry about it. i ordered my SAT scores before the Dec. 1 deadline for CU Boulder and CU Denver. they weren't sent until the 5th of december, and my college counselor told me not to worry about it. also, i got into CU Denver and haven't heard back from boulder yet, so it would appear that it didn't matter.

i think as long as your app is in and the scores get in relatively close to the date (they will almost definitely be there by the time they get around to looking at your app), you will be fine.

never hurts to call the school though and double check

The applications are due on the deadline. the SAT scores can show up on a later date. Did the same thing last year. Dont worry about it

you must send in your application by the deadline, but your teacher recommendations, sat scores, act scores, payments, and i think even supplements can be handed in later. the last 2 depends on the school though

i sent my app/ordered my SAT scores on the deadline, and i got into my college ED, so don't sweat it

it wont matter when the SAT scores arrive as long as the application was received in time. when i was applying to colleges, my SAT scores sent late (after the deadline) and it was totally fine.

you could also call the admit office at the school(s) and let you know that you ordered in time, but college board is running late. they'll appreciate you being considerate/professional

yeah they usually have a deadline a couple months later for the SAT scores after the application.

i realized yesterday that for UW i had only sent in my first scores, and they went up by 200 points when i took it the second time. so i had to send in real quick.
