Just won a camera, few questions

Alright so I won a camera after 4 rounds of trying and trying with new ideas until I finaly found the winning idea. I have a few questions and something to offer to you all.

1: about how long did it ship in and where do you live

2: does the fact that it doesnt have a moniter to frame your shots bother you?

on that note here is a little something I found. I am sure you all heard that an lcd moniter back pak is coming out soon but I always wondered what the price would be. Well, it seems it will be 40 $ ( if I remember) and will fit in the waterproof casing if I understand correctly. check it out yourselves here http://download.goprocamera.com/HD_HERO_Catalog_v03.pdf at the second to last page.

the monitor backpack comes with a special "backdoor" that replaces the one on the standard housing...

ahh I see, that is sick though! at least its still fully waterproof

alright so I got my cam today but I wasnt there to pick it up so they are coming back tommorow... so stoked!

Im expecting the LCD screen to be more than $40. Maybe around $100

but thats just me

well if you look at the pamphlet I showed, it sais 40 and all of the prices are exact

anyways, i don't think there's need for the lcd backpack; you just shoot until the battery is dead....
if you have a 16gig card that's never gonna come close to filling up the whole card...

so no need for reviewing your pictures.... especially once you get the hang of the camera and know how and where to mount it.....

from a filmmakers point of view, the view finder is essential. I need to have propper framing when I shoot. its not a matter of just catching the action but more to frame it exactly where I want it to be in the screen. Im going to use the camera for regular filmmaking also to create some wierd shots and I need a viewfinder for that. The playback option for me is not important, I just want to be able to frame perfectly

ok, if you plan on using it as a regular camera instead of a helmetcam or mounted cam, i can see the benefit of a display....
