Today we we´re working with this doublekink from around 1030 to 1500, and I got some bangers. Then towards the end of the session, one of the riders wanted to see his trick. So I switched over to VCR play on mye XHA1, and there was, nothing. No timecode, nothing happened when I pressed play. The minutes had been counting down when I was recording, so I didn´t think there was a problem. But it was just blank. It was probably around -23 to -20 (celcious) the entire session, so I suspect the weather just made it´s impact on the heads or something. The weird thing was that when I fast backwarded (if you can say that) a couple minutes, the suddenly, there it was. My beloved timecode, showing that something had been recored. But however, when I pressed play, nothing happened.
Everything is lying in front of the fire now heating back up, hoping it´s going to work out. If not, all I got out of this session was cold fingers and a torn camerabag.
