Anyone well versed in Adobe Dreamweaver? I need help!

I changed the CSS rules so the background colors dont appear, so when im in design view it looks the way i want it, like this(note:content deleted so mods dont get mad about advertising):

but when i go into previewinbrowser>safari it looks like this:

Not the way i want it to look. How do i fix this?

I really dont know dreamweaver that well, but can't you just make the backgrounds transparent, sorry if this is what you are already trying.

I love dreamweaver, but sometimes you just have to look at the html code, or the CSS style sheet.

Also get in the habit of when adjusting layout you make a single change, save copy, view in IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and maybe even Webkit the mobile browser if you feel it matters.


Go to pastebin and paste your style sheet code.

apply a background to the content division that is just on a small PNG that is just alpha and then have it repeat and then your background will show
