Replying to Making PVC GoPro Mount

So I was wondering how to make a good follow cam from the GoPro without having to use the helmet mount or chest strap (extra limbs and skis can ruin a shot). So I thought about how I could make a type of "holdable mount" for the camera (not a good name to describe it).

I decided to use the plate that came on top of the GoPro packaging box. Drilling this into some lightweight material and creating a handle from PVC pipe should suffice.
