I hate to add to the already over saturation of fulltilts on this site, but i have seen this go on for too long.

kids need to realize that full tilts are not the best boot money can buy. now, that being said, for people with the proper foot, they MIGHT be a top choice for them, but for someone like me with a wide, thick foot, they simply would not work.

there is no single boot that is better or worse than any other boot...however, there are boots that are better SUITED for any given skier, when speaking in terms of flex, shell last, shell fit, liner fit, etc, etc etc.

i need all the ns bootfitters to back me on this, cause its getting out of hand.

How can you really tell if you have wide feet if you've never actually bought boots before? Because I've been skiing for 2 years and I was still growing a lot (my first year of skiing I went from 5'4" to 5'6" and my foot went up a size and my second year the same except 5'7" to 5'9") so I didn't want to buy boots so we just season leased boots.  But the season leased boots were always terrible, my shins would hurt at the end of the day and they were very uncomfortable.

Haha yeah I know but I don't know what is relatively wide and what is relatively thin, so im just going to say I have thin feet.

For those of you who think that Full Tilts are a God send.... wait until you see what the geniouses are coming up with for the 2010/2011 season. New for next season Full Tilt is introducing a whole new line of boots for you fat footed skiers out there. It's called the Influence line. With a more forgiving width and less suitable flex this boot is sure to be the next over-rated thing in the park. The best part about these boots is a size range from 24-31 is covered by a mere 5(instead of 7) shell sizes. This means that most shell sizes will be shimmed for your comfort. What a terrible idea, insted of making a shell that will fit better, they make a shell that fits and preforms worse. I understand that these boots do fit a certain shape and if your foot meets the criteria you probably love them. However, you cannot argue the fact that shimming a boot shell to fit any foot is the right answer. Thank you Full Tilt for worrying more about making your boots "fucking rad" than fit and performance.

The reason that Full Tilts' new Influence line is destined to go down in burning shambles is because their innovation is in the wrong palce. You can't buy old Raichle molds, come up with half assed ones of your own and rely on a fad to sustain a successful boot company.

It saddens me that graphics and NS threads can get people to buy anything... Bootfitters should blindfold the costomers

Full Tilt's are without a doubt, very well manufactured boots, and what you pay for is what you get. they are not the best boot you can buy, in many situations they are, but in many situations they also aren't. When choosing a boot why buy one because Tommy WAllnuts wears it. (although they are sick haha.)

I feel lucky that full tilts actually fit my foot. I literally tried on every boot in 3 stores and only full tilts fit right. I then bought some online for $250

that being said...i have yet to read a single post, but from the perspective of a bootfitter...full tilts are the iPhones of the ski boot world. you dont need them.
they look cool, theyre fucking spaceman boots, and if my foot was narrow enough you better believe I would be ripping in a pair myself. but really...some people just cant figure it out for some reason.
Nobody cares about your boots.
Stop rolling up your pants to show off them off, it just looks gay.
Ski boots are designed for skiing, but each ski boot is designed for a different ski FOOT. online forums are the worst place to gain information about how a ski boot fits. basing boot-buying decisions on newschooler's boots reviews is honestly the worst possible way to find the right boot.
BOOTS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF YOUR GEAR. big ski boots lead to shin bang; small ski boots make your toe nails fall off. know the fackin' facts
with a good fitting ski boot brings confidence, improved stance, and overall steezeness on the hill.

meanwhile...i have an average foot with a low arch and instep. Ive raced in Lange Comp 120s, started skiing park in Head Mojos, and finally ended my boot-quest at Salomon SPK (2008 OG). They fit great, have a huge powerstrap for fat hucks, and are wide enough that my foot will jizz on command.

The right boot is the boot that fits! Please get this into your heads! It is not the right boot because Tom Wallisch skis in it or it looks cool or matches your clothes. Getting the right boot fit is very important. There are also many other things to take into effect. How will you be using them? The super soft park boot you just bought is gonna be worthless at a place like Silverton! Always consult a professional bootfitter and also. . . Never buy used boots!
