Painting full tilts?

has anyone ever done this- I have a set of  the bumblebees and am considering redoing them with some crylon plastic paint-  has anyone attempted it at all/had any success?

What I did is that we had this old hot tub at this house my parents are renting out, so I boiled a ton of water and dumped it in the bottom of the hot tub, then put some heavy dye in, then dropped in my full tilts, and now my blue booters are PURPLE!!!

I saw someone who painted their tongue, and it was pretty cracked/ beaten up. The main part of the boot might be better since it doesnt flex like the tongue though, but I still wouldnt expect it to hold up. If you do try make sure to scuff it up with some sandpaper first, it'll stick a lot better.

I would imagine it would work great, especially since its white, it would take the color really well. Just like dying a lacrosse head and people do that all the time.
