Replying to Best laptop for video editing..

Ive been doing graphic design and web site production for quite some time now which is all created on my big hand built desktop.However as i dont have a laptop and have started travelling more for things like lectures on web production at university and media production as well as getting into ski videos, i therefore need a laptop for such demands.I however have decided against apple mac's as all my editing software is in windows format and it would be a beast of a price to get this in mac format (legally)

So does anyone out there have any good thoughts on a laptop which is small light powerful and reasonably priced great for travelling? Ski video editors out there give me yout thoughts! :)
