Wiping the inside of goggles?

Hey guys, I just had a question with wiping the inside of goggles..

When I went skiing last week, it was the first day with my oakley a-frames. I was wearing a bandana and they fogged up on the inside and I made the decision to wipe the inside of them.. then found out a couple days later that it actually ruins the goggles. I'm not really sure why they were fogging up, but I'm hoping i didn't just ruin my brand new pair of goggles. Can you guys give me some info on this and clarify some things? Thanks

Unfortunately, wiping the inside does spell death for your goggles because it takes off all the ant-fog. You can try out this stuff http://www.rei.com/product/752088. I have never tried so im not sure if it works, but I guess it's always worth a shot.

it messes up the inner lens when you wipe the lens when it is wet, it screws up the anti-fogging coating on them.

Don't do it!
It removes the anti fog coating, and they will fog like mad
if you absolutely have to, dab the inside with a good goggle cloth very carefully

to get the fog off just lift them off your face for a min. never wipe

how about blow drying ur goggles .. i was skiing mad pow and my goggles were foging up like crazy so after evert 2 runs i went to the bathroom and used the hand dryer to dry my goggles

^ If you have oakleys that can be a very sketchy thing to do because the heat may cause the to lenses to bubble up (unfixable)

this stuff works great, i have found that the cream version works better though.  it comes in a container similiar to chap stick tins, just rub it on with your goggle wipe or bag.
