Honestly I doubt it unless you have friends that work there, verizon workers are pretty unmovable.

^^ this. Now if you have ATT you might have better luck... their workers upgraded me 9 months in advance because I said something.

Its been absolutely terrible lately. Ever since new years its been so damn glitchy. New years day I could even load a page on the browser and I was constantly going in and out of service. Like not just losiing 3G but the sign up top is just completely gone. That finally seems fixed but now facebook is dead. I try to load my status updates/notifications/friends list and it just loads for like a minute and comes up " parsers unexpected error" with a bunch of numbers. Its been doing this for a while and idk how to fix it. I use facebook a lot too on my phone. And thirdly, every so often when I get a text and I slide it up and start to text the keyboard won't light up. Then maybe like 30 minutes later unexpectedly it will light up again. This can get really annoying if your in a darker lighted room/nightime etc. Basically it suckks right now.

And I realized the eris is only a 1.5 platform unlike the droid which is 2. So its still a powerful phone but it might be a litter more friendly to someone like me who doesn't really know how to use all the droid can do..
