Ok I recently bought a pair of used skis, and I had to get the binding re mounted because my boot is so long. My brother picked up the skis for me, and the shop mounted them about 4cm further back than i asked. I know that they have already been remounted twice. If I have the shop lift the binding slightly to see if i can move it forward, will they not be able to put the binding back in those holes if there is nowhere further forward to mount?
Yes, if they take the bindings off and determine that they cannot be mounted further up, they can be remounted in their current position with the use of helicoil inserts.
yeah you dont just want to leave the wholes open. my friend recently got his skis that were a little back mounted remounted into the center, next day, frontflip attempt, snapped both of them right where the holes were, it just loses all of its sturdiness right there
did u get those mounted at snowstar? I dont know if i trust there shop. I had a pair of invaders that got mounted backwards, a friends skis were mounted to far apart for his boot and another friends were mounted at different spots on each ski. Hopefully i can get .45 to mount up my skis though
ya it is so gay, they don't know a thing about skiing there. I am 6'2" and 150 lbs, they set the din at a 4.5. I am so pissed with them cause they literally pretty much ruined these skis for me, and I know they're not going to do anything about it. By the way who's .45?
